Kelimutu Wae Rebo Komodo 7 days – 6 nights tour explores cultural, natural, and marine attractions. This service includes private nature tours and combined tours for marine exploration in Komodo Island using a fast boat. The places visited are:

Itinerary:

Day 1. Pick-up at Maumere or Ende airport. You will be picked up at Maumere/Ende airport by our guide, have lunch, and then depart for Maumere. If picked up at Frans Seda Maumere Airport, you will visit Koka Beach and then proceed to Moni. Check-in at Bintang Lodge Homestay or equivalent. Dinner with local food provided.

Day 2. Moni – Kelimutu Lake – Ende Airport – Labuan Bajo.

  • At 4 AM, drive to the parking point, approximately 40 minutes. From there, walk about 30 minutes to Kelimutu Lake’s summit to witness the sunrise illuminating its unique changing colors. Return to the parking point, then back to the hotel. Breakfast and check-out.
  • After breakfast, drive to the historic site Bung Karno Museum in Ende. Lunch at Blue Stone Beach. This beach is known for its small blue stones along the shore, though they may disappear during certain seasons.
  • Continue to Bajawa city. Check-in at a 3-star hotel. Dinner with local food provided.

Day 3. Bajawa – Bena Village – Ranamese Lake – Ruteng/Hotel.

  • Breakfast and check-out.
  • At 8:30 AM, continue to Bena traditional village, about 40 minutes by car from the hotel.
  • Bena Village, situated at the foot of Mount Inerie, is believed to be where gods or ancestors reside to protect the local people, who are predominantly Catholic despite the traditional beliefs. The village consists of 45 houses among 9 clans. Here, you can witness local women weaving with unique Bajawa motifs.
  • From Bena Village, continue to Borong for lunch, approximately a 3-hour drive.
  • After lunch, proceed to Ranamese Lake, about a 1-hour drive, then to Ruteng for hotel check-in. Overnight at a 3-star hotel. Dinner with local food provided.

Day 4. Ruteng – Spider Web Rice Fields – Dintor – Wae Rebo.

  • Breakfast, check-out at 7 AM. Proceed to Cancar to see the unique spider web-shaped rice fields, about 40 minutes by car.
  • From Spider Web Rice Fields, continue to Dintor for lunch.
  • After lunch in Dintor, return to the vehicle and proceed to Camp 1.
  • From Camp 1, take a motorcycle taxi to Camp 2, approximately 20 minutes.
  • From Camp 2, begin trekking to Wae Rebo village’s peak, a 2 ½ – 3-hour trek.
  • Upon arrival in Wae Rebo village, traditional welcome by the village chief, then settle into another traditional house to rest. After free time, enjoy photography of Wae Rebo’s beauty or interact with the local community. Sleep on Wae Rebo’s traditional mattress or mat. Dinner prepared by Wae Rebo’s women.
  • For photography enthusiasts, wake up at midnight or 1 AM for star photography.

Day 5. Wae Rebo – Dintor – Labuan Bajo.

  • After breakfast, leave Wae Rebo at 8 AM. Return to Camp 2.
  • Arrive at Camp 2, take a motorcycle taxi to Camp 1. At Camp 1, be picked up by car and head to Dintor for lunch.
  • After lunch in Dintor, continue to Labuan Bajo, approximately a 5-6 hour drive. Arrive in Labuan Bajo around 7 PM. Dinner with local food, then check-in at a 3-star hotel.

Day 6. Komodo Island marine tour with a fast boat. This tour will visit popular spots in Komodo Island. Route:

  • Start with pick-up at 5:30 AM from your hotel. Head to Labuan Bajo pier.
  • Use a fast boat to Padar Island. Upon arrival, trek to Padar’s peak for a breathtaking view.
  • Next, visit Pink Beach. Relax on its red sand beach or snorkel.
  • From Pink Beach, proceed to Komodo Island. Here, see Komodo dragons, deer, buffalo, and monkeys.
  • After Komodo Island, continue to Nine Islands. These small, exotic islands offer clear waters and beautiful marine life.
  • From Nine Islands, head to Kanawa Island. Relax on its fine white sand and snorkel among its captivating marine life.
  • Return to Labuan Bajo, then drop-off at your hotel. Dinner with local food provided.

Day 7. Labuan Bajo – airport.

  • Spend the day relaxing at the hotel or enjoy free time before our guide picks you up for your airport drop-off. Tour ends. Thank you for trusting us to arrange your Flores holiday. Happy greetings.

Note

  • This trip can be customized upon request. For marine tours, you can choose to use a standard wooden tour boat with AC cabins or a luxury Pinisi boat (overnight stays on the boat). It can also be done without visiting Wae Rebo.
